Wollongong Bike Hub is seeking a Bicycle Mechanic to join our team on a full time basis. As a Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for our customers' bicycles. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a passion for cycling. The successful candidate will work from our shop located in Wollongong, NSW.
What you'll be doing
Performing routine bicycle maintenance and repairs, including tune-ups, brake adjustments, derailleur adjustments, and wheel truing
Diagnosing and repairing more complex bicycle issues, such as frame damage, component replacements, and wheel building
Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection, scheduling appointments, and addressing any concerns
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficient and safe operations
Collaborating with the team to identify process improvements and implement best practices
What we're looking for
Mandatory -Please do not appy unless you have previous experence as a Bicycle Mechanic.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Customer service-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
