We are looking for another female staff member to add to our growing team. You’ll be joining a passionate and dedicated bunch of individuals that support each other to provide consistently exceptional service.
To succeed in this role you must embrace our team and culture, and be driven to uphold our track record of leading customer service and sales performance, especially in our outdoor segment. Together, we work to make sure every customer receives the best service and advice so that they are equipped and ready for their future adventures.
We are looking for someone who has previous sales experience in a retail or customer service environment. Please note, this experience does not have to be in the bike/outdoor industry. At bikeNOW, we provide in-depth product training to ensure you are supported and empowered to do great work.
This role is a full-time position which will require your availability for occasional late-night shifts and on public holidays and weekends.
To be successful in this role you will:
Deliver world-class, professional customer service, demonstrating expert product knowledge (remember, training provided)
Have a great mindset around health and fitness which you’ll marry up with your ability to drive sales
Understand and create a detailed and thorough customer experience
Work with the team to hit our monthly targets
Ability to build and own relationships with our customers, making sure they are looked after at all times throughout the sales process
Use your initiative, we are a busy workplace and there are always opportunities to improve and expand on the day-to-day
Have the ability to not only understand and follow processes and procedures but to come up with new and improved ways of doing things
Be a confident communicator, always keeping the customer and team in the loop throughout any sales or bike maintenance process
Be a problem solver and self-starter who focuses on solutions
Have the ability to see the bigger picture, in turn displaying competence across all areas of the business such as point of sale, stock control, cash handling, security and store presentation
