As a Bicycle Retail Sales Assistant at Melbourne Bicycle Centre Prahran - bikes.com.au, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and helping customers find the perfect bicycle for their needs. This full-time position is based in our store located in Prahran, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

• Providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers, both in-store and online, helping them select the right bicycle, accessories and equipment for their requirements

• Demonstrating bicycles and accessories to customers, ensuring they understand the features and benefits

• Processing sales transactions and online orders accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining store displays and merchandise to create an inviting shopping environment

• Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

• Supporting the broader team in delivering an exceptional customer experience

What we're looking for

• A passion for cycling and enthusiasm for helping others discover the joy of cycling

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse customers

• Minimum of 2 year retail experience required, bicycle industry experience highly preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to demonstrate and explain bicycle features

• A collaborative mindset and the willingness to be a team player

• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as part of the regular roster

• Must have the right to work in Australia (required)
