Customer service Officer - Sydney

We are currently accepting applications for a Customer Service Officer to join our Shimano Australian Cycling team in Caringbah.

The primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Responding to phone and email inquiries from our dealers in a professional and positive manner

  • Processing of orders and discussing service requirements including an update of product and service information

  • Using cycling knowledge to discuss mechanical related issues

  • Providing a proficient after sales service

  • Participate at events when & where required

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A core understanding of bicycle mechanics (essential)

  • Previous experience in a customer service role

  • Retail experience in the cycling industry preferred

  • Computer literate

  • A can do positive mindset

  • Be customer centric and focused to continue to provide a great service to our customers

  • A true team player with a can do attitude

  • Have full Australian Working rights

  • Familiarity of Shimano products

This position would suit an individual who is familiar with how to service a bicycle, is working in a bike store or happens to be a bike enthusiast. The successful candidate will be working onsite in Caringbah as this is an office-based role. In return Shimano Australia will provide ongoing training, onsite free parking, access to bike lockers, social activities, access to EAP programs, and regular community events.
