About the Role

We are seeking an operations all rounder to assist us operating our fun cycling tours in North East Victoria. This is a flexible hours role as a permanent part time position increasing to full time in the busy season, and includes super, leave entitlements and other benefits as an employee.

The role is available to start early to mid September initially part time (10-20 hours per week) and quickly ramps up for our busy season which kicks off around October through to end of May. There will be weekend work and public holidays so you need to be happy to assist over these days.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a local to grab a career opportunity in one of Australia's leading cycling regions.

As an Operations All Rounder, your duties will include:

  • Meet and greet our guests on arrival

  • Ensuring tour delivery meets expectations

  • Maintaining the safety of our guests as the top priority at all times

  • Problem-solving and assisting guests with any issues (eg: punctures, slipped gears, venue confirmation etc)

  • Arranging and delivering vehicle and luggage transfers (bus driving)

  • Arranging and managing bike fleet maintenance

  • Arranging and ensuring vehicles maintained


Essential Requirements

  • Full Australian Drivers licence (ideally large vehicle licence but not essential can be procured as part of role)

  • A good level of understanding of bikes, and able to perform basic maintenance (update tyres, adjust brakes…etc).

  • Hobby level bicycle maintenance experience with demonstrated ability to perform routine repairs and adjustments

  • Bring high energy, a positive attitude, and genuine love for the outdoors

  • Moderate level of physical fitness suitable for active outdoor work and cycling activities

  • Valid Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa

Preferred

  • First Aid Certification (again we can arrange as part of onboarding so not essential but must be willing to partake)

  • An interest in bike riding and being with people

  • Some computer skills (read emails, print job sheets)
