The Opportunity: Your Role, Your Way

The Core Role: 0.75 FTE (3+ days per week) focused on expert servicing and diagnostics.
The Full-Time Option: Boost your role to 1.0 FTE (Full-Time) by integrating e-bike sales and consultation into your week.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical & Technical Excellence
Expert Servicing: Perform high-standard repairs on electric and acoustic bikes, including complex diagnostics and software updates.
Build & Tune: Assemble and customize new e-bikes, ensuring every ride meets our rigorous safety and quality control standards.
Workshop Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)-compliant workspace.
Customer & Specialist Support
Clear Communication: Provide quotes, explain technical issues simply, and keep customers updated on their bike’s progress.
Smart Scheduling: Manage service bookings to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
Sales Integration (Optional): If full-time, assist customers in finding the perfect e-bike, sharing your technical knowledge to guide their purchase.
Operations & Growth
Sustainable Sourcing: Order parts and accessories with an eye on quality and a low environmental footprint.
Inventory Control: Manage stock-takes and accurately process new inventory using our store software.
Stay Sharp: Participate in test-ride events and technical training to stay at the forefront of e-bike tech.
What You Bring to the Team
Experience: Proven 12-months or more experience in a professional bicycle workshop (e-bike diagnostic experience is a major plus).
Efficiency: A "flow state" worker who can manage a busy diary without compromising on safety or detail.
Problem-Solving: A knack for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Values: A genuine passion for cycling and sustainable living.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale and workshop management software.
Working Conditions
This is a physical role located in our Hobart service center. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of lifting/maneuvering e-bikes.
