About the Role

The Inside Market Developer (IMD) role plays a critical role that creates, fosters and maintains relationships with our wide-reaching network of bicycle retailers, brand partners and riders of all levels and experience. As an IMD, you will elevate and grow the PSI Cycling brand sales and representation across our market. You will:

  • Meet customer requirements for B2B web training and catalogues, including providing complete product pricing, images, and accurate product descriptions.

  • Address inbound enquiries related to sales, process customer orders and inquiries, and seize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Drive sales support by engaging in inbound and outbound calls with retailers, utilising excellent customer service skills and leveraging product/category and marketplace expertise to build strong relationships.

  • Establish and foster rapport with retailers through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and SMS.

  • Process customer warranty returns and maintain proper documentation.

  • Stay up to date with existing and emerging products and technologies.

  • Report competitive conditions and gather customer feedback for management review.

  • Provide support for B2B and B2C sites, ensuring accurate and consistent information is maintained for retailers and riders.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and have excellent organisational and planning skills. You possess:

  • Consultative selling ability including successful negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to maintain good relationships with customers and demonstrated call cycles.

  • Direct sales and/or customer service experience within a wholesale distribution environment, ideally with experience in a specialty sport industry. Experience in retail and/or cycling industry will be an advantage.

  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
