Lusty Industries Pty Ltd is a successful Distribution Company supplying and servicing the Motorcycle and Bicycle retail channels with some of the world's premium brands throughout Australia.
We are located in the sunny seaside suburb of Carrington, with great parking, great cafes, and a young, energetic team that works hard and has fun.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Inventory Manager to join our distribution centre team.
About the Role
This position is responsible for the accuracy, control, and flow of inventory across the warehouse.
You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident leading from the front while improving systems, processes, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Manage inbound inventory processes, including preparing, receipting, inspection, and system entry
Coordinate incoming freight with suppliers and domestic carriers
Verify stock against purchase orders and invoices (quantity, quality, pricing)
Ensure stock is stored correctly, securely, and efficiently
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations
Conduct stocktakes and investigate discrepancies
Monitor and control the flow of goods through the warehouse
Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams
Take ownership of full warehouse inventory flow, high warehouse standards and housekeeping
Drive best practice methodologies for inventory locations and velocity principles
Mentor and support the inventory and warehouse team members for efficiency
Act as a point of escalation for inventory-related issues
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Uphold workplace health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications Required
Driver's licence
Forklift licence (High Reach Desirable)
Experience
Proven experience in a similar senior inventory or warehouse role
Experience with computerised warehouse systems (Scan Pack or similar)
Experience coordinating workflow and resources
Experience in medium-level Microsoft Excel worksheets
Skills, Knowledge & Attributes
Strong understanding of inventory flow and warehouse receiving processes
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
