Marketing Specialist - Sydnet


Are you an experienced Marketing Co-ordinator or Specialist looking to take the next exciting step up?

Attaquer are looking for a new team member to be our go-to on all things marketing. As the ideal candidate you'll be a creative self-starter with experience in performance marketing, a passion for digging into data and not just strategic, but happy to roll your sleeves up and implement breakthrough ideas.

This role offers you the opportunity to sink your teeth into multiple facets of a dynamic business as part of a tight-knit and passionate team. Ideally you have experience working hands on in a small business, an entrepreneurial background, or experience with sports apparel or adjacent industries. Key components of the role include:

  • MARKETING STRATEGY EXECUTION: Influence and execute overarching brand strategy hand in hand with the Head of Marketing & Sales in line with the bigger picture.

  • PERFORMANCE MARKETING: A key conduit between us and our Digital Marketing Agency, planning and overseeing paid media campaigns, managing assets and analysing/optimising performance across all channels.

  • ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA: Planning and implementing our organic social media, utilising brand (and user-generated) content to consistently reflect Attaquer’s values across key channels.

  • EMAIL MARKETING: Plan and implement our email calendar around launches and events, developing strategies to grow subscribers.

  • BRAND/PRODUCT STORYTELLING: Play a key role in shaping Attaquer’s brand voice, working alongside internal copywriters for all communications.

  • CONTENT CREATION: Work with creative and design team to concept, develop and present campaign content. Coordinate the production of marketing collateral, studio photography and blog content (from influencers etc) alongside photography/video partners.

  • EVENTS & POP-UPS: Planning and promoting local and international activations around races, rides and other strategic brand activities.

  • BRAND COLLABORATIONS: Identify potential brand and artist collaborations and help produce presentation decks to pursue leads.

If you’ve got 5+ years marketing experience, with an intimate understanding of paid performance marketing and ideally a keen interest in cycling culture and community, we’d love to hear from you.
