EveryBody eBikes' is seeking a skilled Mechancial Engineering Technician to join our team in Gaythorne, Queensland. This part-time role will see you play a crucial part in the assembly and quality assurance of our customised adaptive trikes, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.
What you'll be doing
Assemble and fit adaptive trikes and other assistive mobility products to customer specifications
Conduct thorough quality checks on all assembled products to identify and address any issues
Liaise with the management team to provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements
Maintain detailed records of all testing, assembly and quality control activities
Support the broader service and maintenance of our product range
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience as a mechanic or fitter, with a strong background in the light fabrication and assembly and maintenance of mobility aids or similar products
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and the initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal team members
Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations
A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
