About Us:  

Evolution Biking is the leading destination mountain bike store located in the heart of the Blue Derby trail network. We provide premium bike hire, retail, repairs, for riders visiting Australia’s top mountain biking destination.

The Role:  

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Mountain Bike Mechanic who’s equally comfortable on the tools and the sales floor. This is a 32-hour per week position, with the option of accommodation as part of your package.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and maintain a fleet of high-end Trek and Norco bikes 

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly for walk in customers

Provide expert advice and friendly customer service to riders of all levels

Support retail sales of bikes, parts, accessories, and merchandise

Maintain workshop cleanliness

Contribute to a positive, welcoming shop atmosphere

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a bike mechanic (e-bikes a major plus)

Strong product knowledge of mountain bikes and related gear

Confident communicator with a customer-first attitude

Sales skills and willingness to help customers choose the right products

Ability to work weekends and peak periods (especially November–April)

Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
