Partnerships & Campaigns Manager – Cycling Media
Flow Mountain Bike | Full-time
Flow Mountain Bike is Australia's leading independent mountain bike & off-road cycling media platform. We work with brands, destinations, events, and riders to tell meaningful stories and deliver high-quality campaigns that connect with the riding community.
We're looking for a Commercial & Partnerships Manager to take ownership of our destination leads, commercial relationships and campaign delivery as Flow enters its next phase of growth.
This role is hands-on, relationship-driven, and central to the business.
About the role
You'll be responsible for managing and growing Flow's commercial partnerships across brands, destinations, and events. This includes campaign planning, client communication, proposal development, and seeing projects through from idea to delivery.
You'll work closely with the Founder and editorial team, but you'll be trusted to run your lane with autonomy and confidence.
It's a focused, senior commercial role for someone who enjoys clarity, ownership, and getting things done well.
Salary range: $85,000–$90,000 per year + Super. We're open to shaping the role for the right person.
What you'll be doing
Managing key brand, destination, and event partnerships
Leading campaign planning, proposals, and delivery
Leading destination projects, proposals and delivery
Maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
Coordinating campaign timelines and deliverables with the editorial team
Working with editorial and contributors to align commercial outcomes
Tracking renewals, opportunities, and follow-ups
Keeping systems (Asana, proposals, documentation) clear and up to date
Proficiency with Asana and related project management systems is essential for maintaining project workflows and documentation
Representing Flow professionally across the industry
What we're looking for
Experience in partnerships, sales, media, marketing, or brand roles
3-4 years of experience in partnerships, sales, media, marketing, or brand roles is required
Cycling/mountain bike experience matters
Industry or professional-level cycling/MTB experience is required to understand the market and community
Understanding media (not just sales) matters
Professional background in media is essential, not just sales experience
This is niche, not generic
Flow's values and tone are non-corporate. Editorial, and audience-first
Strong communication skills and commercial instincts
Comfortable owning conversations and driving outcomes
Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
Able to manage multiple campaigns without things slipping
Deep connection in cycling, mountain biking, and outdoor culture
You don't need to come from media specifically, but you do need to understand relationships, trust, and follow-through.
Important note:This is not an editorial, testing, or content creation role. You will not be reviewing bikes, writing articles, or appearing in content.
This role exists to support and protect Flow’s editorial work by running partnerships, campaigns, and commercial relationships properly.
