Bicycle SA is the peak body for cycling and leader in delivery of Bike education, events and advocacy for South Australia. The mission of increased cycling participation underpins numerous innovative behaviour change programs delivered across the state. Bikes Palya has been delivered through Bike SA since 2013 in remote SA, NT and WA communities. Now an exciting opportunity exists for an organised, passionate, self motivated individual to work outside their comfort zone in the nexus of public health, education and community development.
Program delivery positions will be responsible for delivery of Bikes Palya in Alice Springs one day per week during the school term. Further opportunities exist for complimentary school holiday work during year round (advertised separately) to assist a growing program.

-represent Bicycle SA in an engaging and professional manner
Necessary skills and competencies:
- Interest in recreational cycling
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with youth
- Ability to develop engaging activities
- Ability to think on feet and adapt outside a 9-5 workday format
- Culturally sensitive
-Double COVID vaccinated
-First aid certificate
-Full drivers license

Alice Springs NT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Delivery driving: 1 year (Preferred)
