The Grind | Kew & Mordy Bikes (www.thegrind.cc) are two of Melbourne's premier cycling stores, offering a wide range of bicycles (Giant, Cannondale and others), accessories, and expert services. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and fostering a vibrant cycling community. We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Coordinator to join our dedicated team and help us continue to grow.
Two small shops focused on quality service, allowing time for the staff to perform the jobs. Friendly, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate daily in-store and online sales activities across both Kew and Mordialloc stores.
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of popular items.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing solutions in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and events.
Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management.
Ensure the sales floor is well-maintained and products are displayed attractively.
Stay updated on the latest cycling products and industry trends.
Organise and lead shop rides.
Jump on the tools when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales coordinator or similar role, preferably in the retail or cycling industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.
Passion for cycling and knowledge of cycling products is a plus.
