Sales rep - Perth

(GPI) Apollo is a company with 40+ years in the bike industry. We manufacture our own brands of bicycle for distribution both in Australia and overseas, as well as import and represent some of the highest quality parts brands in the world for the Australian market. Some of our brands include Apollo, Neo, DT Swiss, Felt Bicycles, Buzzrack, Shred, G-Form, Zefal and more brands to join our stable coming on board in the near future..

What does the day to day look like…

You will be our head sales representative for our entire Western Australian business. Using our Perth based office and warehouse as your administration base, your day to day commitments are directly related to managing a consistent call cycle for both existing and new business partners.

The majority of your work will be completed between Monday to Friday during normal business hours. From time to time however, you may be required to attend special events both locally and or interstate which may involve working outside the normal business hours.

As our representative across multiple brands, you will be responsible for ensuring our brands are well represented and supported within the West Australian market place. This is a position that requires face to face business interactions, thus the majority of your working week will be dedicated to being on the road.

The successful applicant will be able to bring the following experience, skills and knowledge to this role:

  • Working experience in an autonomous sales role, with a proven track record of selling and sales success.

  • You will be extremely well organized, have a sound structured approach and are comfortable presenting sales opportunities to wide range of business stakeholders.

  • You will possess strong interpersonal skills and can demonstrate a work ethic that promotes high standards of customer service.

  • Ideally you will have a passion for cycling, have a broad range of knowledge across the varying disciplines, brands, and products available within the cycling market place?

  • Ideally you will have the experience and know how in delivering exceptional service value within a B2B environment.

  • You will possess a “go getter” attitude and a competitive spirit?
