Responsibilities
The Bright Store Manager will lead a friendly, passionate and experienced team of mechanics and sales staff to help our customers experience the joy of bike riding in one of the most beautiful locations in Australia.
You will be responsible for contributing to a range of areas including sales, workshop and managerial tasks. Additionally, you will:
Manage inventory including ordering stock and following trends to make sure we have what our customers want, when they want it.
Convert sales and ensure customers have an awesome in-store experience.
Build and manage your team by recruiting and training staff and creating staff schedules.
Maintain warranty policies and procedures to ensure our customers receive great after-sales service.
Delegate tasks and manage staff to ensure efficient store operations.
But most of all, the store manager leads the team and upholds our culture to continue creating a great workplace for our staff and shop environment for our customers.
Qualifications/Experience
You won't need a PhD in bikes for this role, but a passion for cycling and the High Country is a must. Prior industry and/or retail experience is beneficial but, more importantly, we want an organised, motivated, reliable and mature leader, with exceptional attention to detail.

A demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently (and assist others to do so).
Proficiency with computers and technology.
Mechanical aptitude.
The ability to work some weekends and holidays.
This position is based in Bright, Vic, so you will need to live in the region. But we are open to hearing from people keen to make the tree-change.
