Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example: As a Store Manager / Team Leader, you will be the driving force behind your team. Lead with passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a world-class shopping experience for every customer, fostering loyalty and trust.

  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team of cycling enthusiasts who share your commitment to excellence.

  • Inventory Management: Keep the store well-stocked with the latest and greatest in cycling products. Monitor stock levels and ordering to meet customer demands.

  • Visual Merchandising: Create an inviting atmosphere in-store by showcasing products effectively, both in terms of layout and aesthetics.

  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and compliance with company policies.

  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean store environment, adhering to all safety standards and legal requirements.

  • Customer Engagement: Connect with the local cycling community, hosting events and rides to foster engagement and brand loyalty.

  • Performance Metrics: Analyse key performance metrics to make data-driven decisions, continually improving store performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in retail or a similar customer-facing role.

  • Passion for cycling and a good understanding of bike products and accessories.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving ability and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory and sales tracking.
