As a Trail Operations Coordinator – Warburton Bike Park at Yarra Ranges Council, you will manage the daily operations of the park’s trails and facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and an exceptional rider experience. With 3 direct reports you will coordinate maintenance, lead environmental programs, develop Bike Patrol capability, and contribute to safety and emergency planning as part of the park’s leadership team.
This is a full-time permanent position, 38 hours per week. This is a Band 7 role with a salary range between $110,534 and $ 123,686 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
Experience in the professional construction and maintenance of mountain bike trails.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the mountain biking industry.
Proven leadership capability in a similar field.
Demonstrated capability to utilise a risk management approach to manage safety.
Capacity to manage on-ground environmental programs and work within a complex compliance setting.
Monitors progress toward objectives and adapts approaches to maintain momentum and achieve results.
