Nibble Bikes is a motorcycle subscription service based in Brisbane and Gold Coast, offering e-bikes, scooters, and motorcycles to riders delivering through popular apps such as UberEats and DoorDash. With over 400 motorcycles in our fleet and a fully-equipped workshop in Newstead, we provide comprehensive maintenance and servicing included in our customers' weekly subscription payments. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our workshop operations to offer services to customer-owned bikes and retail parts and accessories both in-store and online. We are seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to join our team and spearhead this expansion, with opportunities to contribute to Nibble Bikes' growth across Australia.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintenance of high-quality standards.
Manage a team of technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
Expand workshop services to include servicing and repairs for customer-owned bikes, as well as parts and accessory sales.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for expanding workshop operations throughout Australia, including identifying potential locations and overseeing new workshop openings.
Monitor and analyze workshop performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories and negotiate favorable terms.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in workshop management, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of motorcycle and scooter servicing and repair techniques, including familiarity with a variety of makes and models.
Understanding of inventory management principles and experience with inventory control systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
Valid motorcycle license and/or relevant certifications preferred.
