Asset Planner - Adelaide

About the Position  The Asset Planner – Trails, Cycling and Shared Use Paths (Asset Planner) manages these asset portfolios with others in the Infrastructure Asset Management            team, ensuring a holistic approach to renewal, construction and maintenance of our assets which facilitate active recreation through walking and cycling. 

 

The Asset Planner is responsible for developing long term capital works programs, preparing project scopes and undertaking community engagement to ensure the successful delivery of the annual Project and Capital Works program. The role is also responsible for responding to enquiries about our network, reviewing the Trails and Cycling Strategic Management Plan and providing input into other strategies and asset management documents. 

 

About YouYou are an Asset Planner with a passion for walking, hiking or cycling and are a proactive experienced professional within your chosen field. You must have the ability to work autonomously, develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and possess strong project management skills.

 

Key Selection Criteria. Experience in: 

  1. Creating and managing multi-year programs and developing project scopes/briefs.

  2. Operating as a member of a specialised professional team that programs and manages project prioritisation and budget preparation.

  3. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external agencies including identifying and accessing external funding opportunities and project partnerships and providing high quality grant submissions.

  4. Passion for working collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver best outcomes for the community.
