Job summary Vallkree electric bikes are seeking a confident Bicycle Mechanic.
Qualifications &experience A strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics, bike store experience and relevant qualifications. We will train with packing and shipping requirements, and all electrical knowledge can be learnt on the job.
Tasks &responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the Vallkree showroom, warehouse, and workshop in the Arts and Industry Area of Byron Bay.
Daily duties: open store, have a good rapport with customers. Bike mechanics and maintenance
Build bikes, build custom bikes, test ride bikes
Pack orders, shipping and phone enquires
Primary Tasks: Assemble, maintain and repair the Vallkree E-Bike and components. Ensure the functionality and reliability of bikes, motors, and mechanical systems. Keep logs of work and report on issues
Secondary Tasks:
Advise and assist on mechanical issues relating to bikes and componentry
Advise on safety and reliability of Valkree products
Advise on safety and reliability issues related to the primary tasks
