Overview of the Role:
We are looking for full-time Sales Consultant – Bicycle Sales & Servicing, to join our team at Camden Cycles.
Reporting to the Shop manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Dealing with customer queries and offering products and or general cycling advice.
Management of stock inventory systems, including stock receipting, stock control and entry of stock into retail management systems.
Deliver excellence in visual merchandising, operations and store processes.
Identifying faults, damage, and wear on bikes. Providing customers with costs & booking in customers’ requests.
Assembling new bikes for customer purchases or shop displays.
Carrying out minor repairs. (e.g fixing punctures)
Fitment of bike accessories.
The ability to carry out routine services and safety checks when required.
Cleaning, degreasing and lubricating bicycles and components when required.
Daily cash taking reporting.
Creating a strong online presence including stock listings
Organising with Manufacture Rep’s, New Bike Demo day/experiences. welcoming new and existing customers.
Demonstrated experience is preferred although if you feel you meet the above criteria, we encourage you to apply.
The Successful Applicant Must have:
Displays a positive attitude.
Extensive knowledge across all styles, Mountain, Road, BMX.
Proven experience to delivering exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a team.
Proven experience and knowledge of Bicycle brands & accessories.
Computer literate, strong organisational and admin skills.
Proven experience in understand customer requests & repairing bicycles within relevant timeframes.
