About the Role and You:
Working alongside our experienced customer service team your role will involve engaging with our customers regarding a wide array of bicycles, products, accessories and service. As part of our team you will assist with sales, customer service, retail merchandising and management. You will be working within a supportive environment to help increase the growth of the business, provide a high-quality retail customer experience whilst developing sales, customer service and inventory management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and engaging manner
Assess customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of our bicycle inventory, accessories and services
Demonstrate bicycles and equipment, explaining features and benefits
Process sale transactions and handle customer inquiries
Contribute to visual merchandising and store organisation
Assist and develop soical media and marketing strategies
Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
Complete rolling stock takes of inventory
Stay updated on industry trends and local cycling events
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous work experience in a customer service role in the bicycle industry is preferred but not essential
Can demonstrate you are committed, reliable and are continually learning to improve your capabilities
Good communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with both team members and customers
