Digital marketing manager - Sydney
Bicycles Online are looking for a Digital Marketing guru to take the reins of our acquisition department. As the leader of this function, you will be responsible for driving all marketing activities via planning, developing, implementing and maintaining the acquisition marketing strategy—all with the end goal of expanding Bicycles Online's customer base and increasing customer acquisition.

We have over 70 staff located in 6 countries, so saying we are a flexible work environment is an understatement. However, for this role, we would prefer a candidate based in Sydney for at least a couple of days each week. We only work from Monday to Friday so that we can ride bikes on the weekend!
What Will You Do?
As our Marketing Manager you will be accountable for Bicycles Online customer acquisition in Australia and the USA. The responsibilities of this role include:
Creating and managing customer acquisition and lead generation strategies within a variety of digital marketing channels, including paid acquisition, affiliate, email, socials and more
Establishing marketing goals and KPIs based on past performance and market analysis, forecast, trends and competitors
Financial planning and budgeting for the Digital Marketing function, driving maximum return on investment.
Providing timely and accurate reporting on key digital marketing and sales metrics with detailed analysis and tangible insights, creating detailed written reports and verbal presentations for monthly meetings
Managing a small team of marketing support staff attending to recruitment, onboarding and training of the marketing team as it expands
Managing relationships and outcomes with third-party creative, affiliate and SEM agencies.
Partnering with the Website Management Team to successfully execute on marketing campaigns
Developing procedures for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Digital Marketing function
Deploying successful marketing campaigns for lead generation and customer acquisition
Testing new marketing opportunities and promotions, adjusting marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and feedback
Approving and overseeing the creative development of promotional materials, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
Oversee the design, build and maintenance of our social media presence
What You’ll Have
Minimum of 5 years experience within brand and digital marketing
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar, and a demonstrated ability in quantitative fields
Creative, can think outside the box, strong customer-centric mindset - you are always thinking about how our customers interact with the brand
Demonstrated ability to create and implement global brand strategy and build an e-commerce brand
Strong analytical skills, knowledge of website and digital marketing tools
Strong understanding of executing multi-channel campaigns
Experience leading teams
Strong copywriting and proofing skills
A passion for cycling is preferred but not required.
