Global Fitness and Leisure is on an exciting growth trajectory, known for its leadership in the Fitness, Bicycle, and Kids Play Equipment categories in Australia.

If you haven’t heard of Global Fitness and Leisure, chances are you’ve come across our well-known and internationally distributed brands: Reebok, Adidas, Lifespan Fitness, Lifespan Kids and Rocky Mountain to name a few. 

Our products are distributed throughout Australia via a range of channels, which includes our Direct-to-Consumer brand eCommerce focused clients and major retailers such as Bunnings, Harvey Norman, Big W, Qantas, Myer and more. 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for those passionate about building a career in sales and account management within the eCommerce and retail sectors. You’ll work closely with our major eCommerce and retail clients, particularly in our fitness and kids play equipment departments, helping to maintain strong relationships, support their needs, and contribute to our mutual growth.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each client's unique business objectives and goals. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our eCommerce customers, understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges. Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment on client needs and deliverables. Advocate for client priorities within the organization.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling of products and services. Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services offered to clients based on their evolving needs.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track client satisfaction, retention, and overall account health. Proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address issues or concerns raised by clients, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to find effective solutions and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Identifying and Converting New Business Leads: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the eCommerce sector. Utilize market research and industry insights to identify potential clients and develop targeted outreach strategies. Convert leads into long-term partnerships through effective communication and value proposition delivery.



  • Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop account management and sales skills in the eCommerce industry.

  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling various tasks.

  • Strategic Thinking: An interest in developing strategies to meet client needs and drive growth.

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook and Excel.

  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Ready to take on challenges and find solutions.

  • Driver’s License: A current driver’s license.

  • Travel: Open to occasional domestic travel as needed.


Desired, but not essential

  • 1-2 Years Previous Experience in a Account Management or Client Relationship Management Role.
