Cyclepath is looking for a shop manager to join our dynamic team. We are a locally owned and independent business. Our shop specializes in bike sales, service and repairs, hire and information. Since 1994 we have fixed, sold, cleaned and serviced bikes. We talk about, admire, live and dream bikes. We love where we live and work, here in Bright, the heart of Australia’s premier riding country. Whether it's road, mountain biking, gravel or recreational cycling, our shop offers the full range of bikes and accessories. We offer everything from e-bikes and road bikes to full suspension and enduro bikes, and, most importantly, the knowledge and familiarity needed to enjoy this area. We strive to guarantee our community enjoy their time riding here. As the leader of the team you will be responsible for all aspects of the store operations.As the leader of the team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the store operations including:
Qualifications & experience
demonstrated the ability to lead and work in and with a team;
at least five years of general retail or hospitality experience including time in a team leadership role;
excellent strategic and problem-solving skills;
effective communication and organisation skills;
strong written and numeracy skills; and
be proficient with accounting and computer systems.
Tasks & responsibilities
people management and organisation including rostering, scheduling, developing and training;
product and services merchandising including purchasing, ordering and display;
customer relations including talking with and helping them make well-informed choices;
managing the rental fleet including service schedules, inventory and bookings;
sales performance and
you’ll be the leader of the store's involvement in and with the riding community that lives here and those who visit.
