Specialized has an opening for a Service Manager to join our team at Studio de Velo in Sumner. This role is a key member of our workshop and retail teams and balances excellence in mechanical service and a passion for rider satisfaction. From a culture perspective the Service Manager helps to set the tone of the workshop and will partner with the Store Manager and mechanics all parts of the business to facilitate store based events, education, product launches and brand advocacy.

You will oversee the day to day operations of the service centre and deliver exceptional customer experience for our riders across all aspects of service, warranty and repairs
You love systems such as Hubtiger and enjoy learning new technology and systems
You enjoy creating a culture that encourages continuous improvement and growth
You love chasing a target but can also keep an eye on the day to day expenses of the workshop
A clean workshop is important to you and you also enjoy educating your team on the latest technology and products as they come to market

SOME THINGS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
You have 3+ years’ experience as a Service / Workshop Manager or Assistant Manager / Mechanic
You are a self starter and thrive on meeting deadlines and you like working in a fast paced environment
You are able to work to a roster which includes Saturday’s
You are proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
You love to interact with riders and team members
